FRIENDLY RECLAIMED AND OLD GROWTH CHARACTER

PEGASUS CUSTOM HARDWOOD is proud to announce
a new line of environmentally friendly old growth,
character unfinished plank flooring.
All reclaimed wood plank flooring is resourced
from old barn, factories, and tobacco shed or
farm buildings. Eco friendly reclaimed plank
comes from the beams or old flooring of these
structures which can be as old as 100-200 years.
Not only are these reclaimed planks Eco friendly,
but, they are obviously from very old trees.
The grain pattern is different from newly cut
trees. We harvest the beams, saw them into rough
sawn 1" boards and then mill into 3/4"
plank, tongue and groove flooring. After we
kiln dry the plank, we make sure moisture levels
are between 6%-10%, which is best for wood flooring.
