Testimonial:
Dear
Michael:
I
would like the thank Pegasus Custom Hardwood and you personally
for your participation in the Stubbs Idea House. During the process
of contacting potential Show House sponsors, my curiosity was
piques by the overwhelming enthusiasm of your representative here
in Houston. I had to agree that the small sample he had of the
beautiful, hand honed plank floor was very impressive. There
is, however, no way to convey the majesty of the workmanship in
the hardwood floor and it's effect until you see it in your home
and have the opportunity to live with it as it assumes a persona
of it's own, with warmth and character that grows on you like
a cherished antique passed down through the generations. The texture
of each hand honed, signed plank seemed to create it's own story,
reflect it's own light, and combine to create a movement almost
as fluid and mysterious as that of water in a stream.
During
the events, receptions and open house at the Idea House I have
had the opportunity to hear from those who have visited the house
and commented on the floor. Most felt it to be an antique that
must have been transferred from an old school house, library,
or historical home.
I don't think that most people have
encountered quality of this magnitude, and they were astounded
to learn the availability of this kind of excellence in a world
that relied upon machines and mass production that create environments
that tend toward the institutional or sterile. The floor you created
was one of the most appreciated contributions to the house.
Thank
you for your participation in the Stubbs Idea House and for allowing
me to experience beauty, history, and excellence from an era past
expressed in the beauty of your creation today.
Warm
regards,
Bill
